Every year in May, the Cyril Jackson Senior High School hosts the Health Expo, where students, families and local community can get information and advice from local service providers.

Tenant Advocates Taryn and Anne Marie attended this year’s event and met with hundreds of local people all keen to hear about the supports on offer for families, the steps they can take towards a more secure lifestyle, and the ways in which they can get involved in their community.

The hampers that Taryn created as free raffle prizes were a huge draw card, with 10 lucky people taking home a prize (though we do feel a little sorry for the students who had to carry their home – they were huge!)
