MAKING APPOINTMENTS

To make an appointment, please call us between 9:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Looking for Financial Counselling? You can also BOOK ONLINE or call the National Debt Helpline on 1800 007 007 to book a Midlas Financial Counsellor.

When you contact us for an appointment we will need to ask some question about you and your situation. This helps us work out how best we can help and is also part of our funding requirements. Midlas is funded for a specific geographical area and service scope. If we are unable to assist you, we will do our best to refer you to a service that can.

Please note that as a Community Legal Centre, we may be unable to assist you if we are providing or have ever provided services to another party in a dispute you were involved in. If this happens, we will provide you with information for other services that may be able to assist.

Our services are in high demand and we know that at times it can be difficult to get through on the phone.

ATTENDING APPOINTMENTS

If you know you won’t be able to make your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible as due to high demand, we will be able to provide someone else the opportunity to attend.

Please try to bring all relevant documents to your appointment to ensure we can provide the best information possible.
